With a turnover of approximately 247 million euros in 2010, around 186,000 tons of paper sold, four production plants and 633 employees, since the 13th century, the Fabriano papermill is a historic, yet modern business with characteristics that are unique in the paper mill world.
The company boasts a particular strength, namely the simultaneous production and marketing presence in very different sectors/markets. Despite operating in the exclusive production of wood-free uncoated paper, the Company is today present on the market for office paper, security paper and banknotes, drawing and fine arts paper, paperboard for printing and packaging, whilst also retaining a department where paper is still produced by hand.
The company enjoys significant market shares in many of the sectors in which it operates (office paper, drawing paper, security paper). Cartiere Miliani Fabriano production focuses on high quality products due to the high technological content of the machines and production processes.
All production plants of Fabriano papermill, as well as the Fedrigoni company facilities, feature a UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 certified Quality System and a UNI EN 14001 certified Environmental Management system.
